POLICE are appealing for help to trace a 20-year-old man from Oxford who is wanted in connection with a number of burglaries.
The force is searching tor Owen Maughan after links with a number of incidents that occurred in York Road, Headington, between March 11 and March 12, in which sheds were broken into and items stolen.
He is further wanted in connection with an assault that happened on February 8 in Pegasus Road.
Maughan is known to frequent the areas of Blackbird Leys, Rose Hill and Littlemore.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Robert Fisher, based at Oxford police station, said: "We are appealing for the public’s help in locating Maughan in connection with a number of burglaries and an assault.
"If you see Maughan, please do not approach him, instead call 999 straight away.
"If anyone has any information about where he may be, please contact Thames Valley Police by calling 101, quoting reference 43210103547.
"Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or via their website."
