OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT
WARWICK SAYCE, 55, of Appleford Drive, Abingdon, admitted criminal damage to a car on South Avenue, Abingdon, on August 1. He also admitted damaging another car on Alice Smith Square, Oxford, on April 25 as well as assault by beating a man on the same day at the Co-op on Northcourt Road, Abingdon. He was made subject to a community order and must have treatment under the direction of Turning Point for 12 months. He has also been made subject of a restraining order and must not contact the victim directly or indirectly until March 2023. He must also pay compensation of £1,200.
BRETT MCCARTHY, 50, of Greville Road, Banbury, admitted assault by beating a woman in Banbury on January 9. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £22 as well as court costs of £85. In the court documents it said the sentencing reflected the ‘unusual circumstances of the case’ including the defendants ‘honesty’ from the beginning and steps already taken to address the problems.
GAVIN ALDERSLADE, 47, of Rupert Way, Thame, admitted driving at 52mph in a 30mph zone on November 11 at Park Corner in Oxford. He was fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
ALEKO ALEKSANDROV, 38, of Clifton Close, Bicester, admitted driving at 50mph in a 30mph zone on Launton Road, Bicester, on November 5. He was fined £388, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £39 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with five penalty points.
SHARON WHEELER, 44, of Hill Rise, Oxford, admitted driving at 37mph in a 30mph zone on the B4027 at Stanton St John. She was fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.
MAXWELL MULLEE, 29, of Grove Road, Wantage, was convicted of assault by beating a woman in Didcot on July 2. He was fined £350, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £620.
DALE CARTER, 28, of Kirtlington Road, Bicester, admitted assault by beating a woman and using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment and distress on September 5 in Yarnton. He was made subject to a community order and must participate in the ‘Building Better Relationships’ programme for 30 days. He must also carry out 140 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He was fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.
ANDREW SMITH, 38, of Hamilton Close, Bicester, admitted being in possession of Heroin, a class A drug, and cannabis, a class B drug, on November 23, 2019 in Bicester. He was also convicted of resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty. He was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £21 and court costs of £85. He must also forfeit the drugs to be destroyed.
GEMMA REES, 30, of Eastern Avenue, Oxford, admitted three counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker in Oxford, on February 9 and 12 as well as common assault of an emergency worker on February 12 and racially aggravated intentional harassment on February 12 in Oxford. She was sent to prison for 12 weeks because the offence is so serious and she has an ‘extensive’ record of previous offences. She was ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
WILLIAM LYNCH, 28, of Fleet Farm Way, Adderbury, was convicted of two counts of assault by beating a man on August 10, 2019 in Banbury. He was made subject to a community order and must take part in a ‘Thinking Skills’ programme for 19 days. He must also pay compensation of £100, court costs of £350 and a victim surcharge of £95.
GAVIN BRADLEY, 52, of Chichester Place, Brize Norton, admitted driving at 45mph in a 30mph zone on March 10 on the A4074 in Warborough. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with four penalty points. He was not given a totting up disqualification because he ‘would not be able to run his business, effect on mental health and could risk his tenancy’.
OLIVER OGNANOV, 34, of Shannon Road, Bicester, admitted driving without third party insurance on December 30 in Bicester. He was fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 42 days.
NICHOLAS RENWICK-FORSTER, 47, of Northend Road, Henley-on-Thames, admitted driving at 37mph on a 30mph zone on the A4155 on July 30. He was fined £600, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.
CHLOE DALLIMORE, 25, of North Moreton, Didcot, admitted speeding in a 40mph zone on the A41 near Bicester on September 6. She was fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
RONALD VARNEY, 74, of Rectory Close, Upper Heyford, admitted failing to keep his dog under control on Mill Lane in Upper Heyford on July 25. He was discharged conditionally for six months, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £220.
JASON STANMORE, 34, of Banbury Road, Summertown, admitted breaching the supervision requirements following a release from prison by not attending appointments on December 29, January 5 and February 5. He was fined £50.
ADRIAN HOLMES, 41, of Van Diemens Road, Thame, was convicted of driving at 50mph in a 30mph zone on the B480 in Chiselhampton on January 18, 2019. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £150. His driving licence was also endorsed with four penalty points.
LORRAINE BLACKWELL, 46, of Barns Road, Oxford, admitted drug-driving on Between Towns Road in Oxford on August 25. She had 444mcg of benzoyleconine in one litre of blood, above the legal limit of 50mcg. She also had 2.5mcg of cannabis in her blood, above the legal limit of 2mcg. She was discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22. She was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.
ALICA FABIKOVA, 43, of Faringdon Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Wallingford on February 26. She had 82mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. She was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £40. She was also disqualified for driving for 21 months.
