MEMORIAL benches will be installed in memory of Captain Tom Moore and Wallingford police officer PC Andrew Harper – who was killed on duty.
Oxford city Councillor Saj Malik, representing Cowley Marsh Ward, said the benches would be paid for out of his councillor's budget and will be placed in Marsh Park on March 31.
They will cost £1,800.

Mr Malik explained why he chose to honour these two men with memorial benches.
Regarding Captain Tom he said: "He inspired the nation at the time of pandemic when we were feeling down and he given nation aspiration to fight the pandemic and raise huge sum for NHS.
"We Thank Sir Tom.
"This bench will not just remind us his courage and inspiration will inspire the future generations."
Sir Captain Tom Moore passed away in January after testing positive for coronavirus.
He raised over £33 million for the NHS.
With regards to PC Harper's memorial bench he said: "Well this was a very tragic incident when a police officer lost his life in the line of duty.

"He lost his life protecting us from criminal and I wanted to pay tribute behalf of the Temple Cowley residents.
"He always be remembered for his bravery.
"We salute our heroes."
PC Harper died while on duty in August 2019.
In the past Mr Malik has helped install other memorial benches in Marsh Park, including one for former local council leader Stan Taylor.
