CYCLISTS have been asked not to park their bikes on city-centre streets ahead of some filming.
Signs have appeared on railings and bike racks on Catte Street, behind the Radcliffe Camera and near the Bridge of Sighs on New College Lane.
It says: "Dear Cyclist, due to filming and preparation work we kindly ask for bikes not to be locked here from: Wednesday 24th March - Friday 26th March.
"This is for continuity and action taking place. Many thanks, Locations Team."
It is not known for certain who the 'locations team' are or what they are filming but there is speculation that it could be for ITV's Endeavour.
Filming for the Inspector Morse spin-off has been taking place in Oxford ahead of season eight - which could be the last.
Shaun Evans, who plays a young inspector, was in scenes in the city centre two weekends ago.
