The entire coach fleet has now been replaced following a £13m investment.

Karen Coventry, director at Stagecoach in Oxfordshire, which manages the Oxford Tube, said: “We are thrilled to be able to share with our customers that the Oxford Tube will be returning at the end of this month.

"The government’s roadmap has enabled us to implement a timetable which provides our passengers with a good level of service and will see us through the gradual easing of restrictions and the reopening of non-essential retail which will follow in April.

“We have received a number of enquiries regarding when the service will return, not just from customers but from ours drivers too who have been eager to get back behind the wheel of our new coaches.

"The new vehicles are an attractive mode of transport to reach the capital and will draw visitors to Oxford too, helping to support the economy and the county’s recovery.
