For many years residents in the city would get their gardens looking lovely for the annual Oxford in Bloom competition run by the city council.
Each year there would be an explosion of colour and scent as residents made their gardens look good for the judges.
Prizes were dished out in a range of categories including most beautiful container, best commercial display and Junior Oxford in Bloom.
Among the regular winners was Chris Perks Wood Farm.

Michelle Legg, organiser of the Oxford in Bloom, said that year: “The standard of entries has been very high which made judging a difficult process.
