THERE have been no new coronavirus deaths recorded in Oxfordshire for a fifth day in a row.
However, according to the Government’s website, as of 4pm on Wednesday, there were 26 new cases recorded in the county.
The rate of infection in Oxfordshire now stands at 4,683 cases per 100,000 people, lower than the England average of 6,588.
These were the numbers for the past 24 hours by local authority:

The total number of coronavirus cases since the pandemic started are:
l Oxford – 9,096
l Oxfordshire – 32,392
Oxfordshire's cases were among the 524,207 recorded across the South East, a figure which rose by 465 over the period.
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
Public Health England is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.
The UK has recorded a further 190 Covid-related deaths and 5,926 new cases, Public Health England confirmed.
Government data up to 9 March shows that of the 24,064,182 jabs given in the UK so far, 22,809,829 were first doses – a rise of 217,301 on the previous day.
Some 1,254,353 were second doses, an increase of 72,922.
