PEOPLE travelling by train this weekend may face longer journeys due to rail works.
Chiltern Railways says there will be no through trains between London Marylebone and Oxford/Bicester Village this weekend as the railway will be closed between Wembley Stadium and High Wycombe and between Warwick Parkway and Solihull.
Most journeys will take longer and people may need to change trains, use other operators or use rail replacement buses.
People travelling between Marylebone, Bicester Village, Oxford and Banbury should travel via Aylesbury Vale Parkway and use rail replacement services to/from Bicester North or Bicester Village to complete their journey.
