The actor who played the Prime Minister's bodyguard in a popular drama series alongside Keeley Hawes is expected to star alongside Priyanka Chopra in Amazon Studios' new global series Citadel, made by Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo.
In 2019, Amazon revealed Citadel was a spy show with international spin-offs in the local language.
Specific plot details, beyond the fact that the series will revolve around the world of espionage, are still under wraps, but the show is expected to have a large production.
The writing team for the show includes Mission Impossible writers Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner (Venom), and Scott Rosenberg (High Fidelity).
While no further details have been given on the characters they're playing, both Chopra and Madden will headline the “mothership” series in the States that will launch a global franchise.
