HUNDREDS of children took part in a Harry Potter-themed tea party with wizards and live owls - in the real-life Hogwarts' dining hall.
About 300 youngsters from schools across Oxfordshire descended on Christ Church - which was used as a location for the blockbuster movies - for the event, which raised about £3,000 for Horspath-based charity Family Links through ticket sales and donations.
The children quizzed production staff from the films, played Harry Potter-themed party games and took away goody bags.
Spokesman Hannah Watson said: "They had iced cakes with Harry Potter and Halloween decorations, a team of magicians going round from table to table doing tricks for the kids, and one doing circus skills on a unicycle."
