A WOMAN in her 50s was rushed to hospital after a hit and run in Oxford yesterday.
The victim, who was a pedestrian, suffered significant injuries during an incident between a small white car and a van on Hart Street at around 3.55pm.
The drivers of both vehicles left the scene before police arrived at the location.

Thames Valley Police are now appealing for witnesses of the incident and CCTV or dash camera footage that may assist identify the vehicles and people involved.
PC Lyndsey Blackaby, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We need to identify the vehicles involved in this collision, and the occupants of the vehicles as soon as possible.
"Anyone who knows the occupants of the vehicles, any witnesses or anyone with footage who haven’t already spoken to the police, are urged to contact the force immediately."
