Oxford continued their impressive run in the ESFA Under 15 Trophy with an emphatic 4-0 win over Slough in the fourth round at Oxford City.
The hosts had their bar rattled before they took the lead in the 29th minute when Kynan Issac headed home Ryan Simpson's free-kick.
Oxford increased their lead four minutes later. Slough failed to clear a Simpson corner and captain Matt Willett drilled it into the far corner from 12 yards.
Issac bagged his second header of the match after the break when he looped the ball over the keeper from Conor McDonagh's cross.
Oxford's fourth came with ten minutes left when McDonagh slid a perfect through ball past the defence for TJ Constant to latch on to and finish.
Now Oxford are at home to Plymouth, who won 7-3 at Newport, in the last 16, with the tie to be played on or before Saturday, January 19.
- Vale of White Horse Under 11s stormed to a 6-1 win in their County League basement battle against Gosport & Fareham at Bay House School.
Alex Thomas nipped in between two defenders to give Vale an early lead, and minutes later Scott Grove buried a low shot for the second.
Owen Shaw crashed a penalty against a post, before Thomas made it 3-0 with his second.
Grove also completed a brace before the break, and Shaw added to Vale's tally early in the second half.
Gosport pulled a goal back, but Vale had the final word when Jack Brown finished from close range.
