A BOY aged just 17 has been arrested by police after a stop and search drugs operation yesterday.
Officers arrested the teenager in the Green Lane Bridge area of Banbury, after seizing a haul of suspected Class A drugs and along with a considerable amount of cash.
Following a number of reports of suspicious behaviour and suspected drug dealing in and around the area local officers have been regularly patrolling and on the look out for those involved.

The 17-year-old from Banbury is currently in custody with the force's TaskingTeam assisting with their ongoing investigation.
Sharing news of the arrest on Facebook yesterday, the force's Cherwell team wrote: "It was a case of right time, right place for eagle eyed PC Edwards of the Banbury Problem Solving Team today.
"We do take all reports of such behaviour seriously.
"It is not lost upon us the considerable risk that young people are putting themselves in by becoming involved in drug dealing.

"If you have concerns about a loved one, or notice such activity in your area, please report it either online or via 101 giving us as much information as possible."
Images shared alongside the post showed a packet of substance resembling cocaine and a bunch of £20 notes.
