POLICE today appealed for information after a £2,500 raid on a company in Faringdon.
Between 3pm on Sunday and 6am on Monday, thieves forced entry into the communal entrance of OSX and Farringdon Lifts who share the ground floor of a business lot.
The offenders forced their way into OSX by smashing the internal door in two. They stole £2,500 worth of property including laptops and mobile phones. They also broke into Faringdon Lifts but took nothing.
It is believed they left on foot and would probably have been carrying rucksacks or similar. All the stolen items were small and could be carried. Witnesses may have seen people in the early hours of Monday morning acting suspiciously.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Lewis Boyce of Wantage Police, via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, if you don't want to speak to police or leave your name, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
