TWO women were egged while out running earlier this week.
At about 8.15pm on Monday, the victims, both in their early twenties, were running down Mill Street, Eynsham on the opposite side of the road to the Post Office, when a light-coloured van drove past and an egg was thrown at them.
The egg hit one of the victims in the face, causing injury and swelling to her face, and a nosebleed.
She did not require hospital treatment.

The van is described as light-coloured and possibly caddy style.
Thames Valley Police now is appealing for witnesses following the assault.

“I would also ask anybody who was driving in the area to please check dash-cam footage and call us if it has picked up anything that could assist this investigation.
“You can contact us online or by calling 101, quoting reference number 43210075559.
“Alternatively, for 100 per cent anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
