A CAMPAIGN group is calling for action against racism on UN Anti Racism Day.
Oxford campaign groups are coming together for a Rally Against Racism on March 1, to urge people to join an international day of action on March 20, UN Anti Racism Day.
The online rally will feature Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP, and a speaker from US based United Against Hate who recently mobilised against the far right Proud Boys who invaded the Capitol building to stop the election of Joe Biden as US President on January 6.

Ian Mckendrick from Oxford Stand Up To Racism, said : "The Black Lives Matter movement showed the power of a mass movement against racism. It opened up a debate about racism and won some real changes, but racism is still not defeated.”
The rally will also hear speakers from Oxford Against Immigration Detention and Oxford Medact, alongside a representative of a UK trade union.
