An Oxford shopping street resounded with the sound of Indian drums - all in the name of charity.
A group of dhol drummers from St Christopher's School, in Temple Road, Cowley, performed in Cornmarket Street on Saturday.
They were raising money for Oxfam's Bangladesh cyclone appeal - and managed to collect £200 for the cause.
School secretary Bernadette Fathers said: "The children started doing dhol drumming under Chris Hills, who is the Year Five and Six teacher, and it has really taken off.
"The children love it and they have played in various places in Oxford over the year.
"They did the same thing last year and they try to make it an annual event, purely for fundraising for Oxfam.
"They had a lovely reaction, everyone was round listening to them."
