A community magazine which is distributed to 3,500 homes is closing down after 32 years.
The last issue of the free Wallingford Magazine will come out on January 1. Its place will be taken by a new publication - Wallymag, which will also be free.
Wallingford Magazine chairman Bryan Myatt said: "Income has not covered expenditure and we have reached the point where it would be irresponsible to allow the situation to deteriorate further."
It costs about £1,000 a month to produce the magazine, with advertising supporting only 75 per cent of the costs.
