A prison escapee who fled from custody while being transferred to a police station has been recaptured.
Police this morning appealed for information on the whereabouts of Michael Andrew Tutt, 24, who escaped police in Hampshire because it was believed he had connections with Banbury in Oxfordshire.
Tutt, of Swanmore, near Southampton, was last seen on Friday wearing handcuffs as he escaped while being transferred to Eastleigh police station.
He was recaptured in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, this afternoon and is currently being quizzed by police.
