A MAN has been jailed after he threatened to stab two 11-year-old boys. 

Levi Dakin, of no fixed abode, appeared at Oxford Crown Court today after admitting one count of robbery and another count of attempted robbery. 

It comes after an incident at around 3pm on August 5 when 23-year-old Dakin threatened the children in Henley-on-Thames and demanded them to hand over their possessions.

They were not injured but he took £10 in cash. 

Dakin was arrested and charged on the same day. 

Today he was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.

Detective Constable Jamie Lawes, based at Abingdon police station, said: “I am pleased that Dakin has received a custodial sentence following this incident.

“He threatened two young boys, taking just £10 in cash.

“Thames Valley Police does not tolerate this kind of behaviour and we work hard to bring offenders to justice.”
