BLENHEIM Palace has made more film and TV appearances than any other English country house, according to new research.

Furniture store House of Oak has totted up the figures, and found that Blenheim tops the charts with 71 appearances on screen.

Those appearances include blockbuster movies such as Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and the James Bond film Spectre.

Blenheim came in just one screen appearance ahead of Hatfield House in Hertfordshire, which had its hedge maze feature in The Avengers film.
