A RED sea of cars were spotted in an Oxford street this morning.
The motor vehicles, lined up one after the other, were seen in Bridge Street, Osney Island, just a few minutes walk from the Oxford Mail offices.
According to the RAC, black is the most common car colour in the UK with six and a half million on the road.
The figures suggest red is just the sixth most popular colour for drivers, behind black, silver, blue, grey and white.
In March 2020, there was just under three and a half million red cars in the UK.
