A POPULAR high street fashion chain could be set to close its doors in an Oxfordshire town.
A spokesperson for H&M confirmed that there are currently consultations taking place about the potential closure of the store in the Woolgate Centre, Witney.
The spokesperson added: “We are working to support our colleagues at this time.”

Although a final decision on the future of the store has yet to be made, the spokesperson said they would update the Oxford Mail when that decision has been finalised.
On the online H&M store locator, there is no search result for Witney, with alphabetical results skipping from Windsor to Woking.
Swedish retail-clothing company H&M sells clothing for women, men and children, in addition to having its own home section.
