The Bullnose Morris in Blackbird Leys was closed in September after owner Greene King announced that it would be permanently closing at least 26 sites nationwide.

Since then there has been no official announcement about what will happen to the building, but some locals have talked of rumours that the building was already sold off.
At the Blackbird Leys Parish Council planning meeting last week, questions were asked about the status of the site.
Oxford City Council holds the freehold of the site and Greene King holds the lease for the site.

The council has now confirmed that it still owns the freehold and Greene King also said it still owns the long-term lease for the building.
Neither the council nor the pub’s leaseholders disclosed any plans to sell the pub or change its purpose.
