OXFORD's top five takeaways from Deliveroo have been revealed.
Since its launch in the city six years ago, more than 280 restaurants have signed up to the platform – 60 percent of which are locally-owned independent eateries.
New data from the delivery service shows an insight into the eating habits of people in Oxford.
The most popular time to order a takeaway is 8.52pm on a Friday night.
The top five dishes sold are:
- Cheeseburger from Five Guys
- Grilled Chicken Burrito from Tortilla
- Chicken Katsu Curry from Wagamama
- Byron Burger and Fries from Byron
- Pad Thai with Chicken from Banana Tree
Harison Foster, regional director for the UK said: “Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Oxford over the past six years means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have the opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work.”
Until February 28 new customers can get £10 off their first delivery with a minimum spend of £5 using the code WEGETFOOD.
