Villagers at Stonesfield, near Woodstock, took over a village street to hold a traditional pancake race.
Some competitors really got into the swing by dressing up, including Karen Hall, 11, left, and Tina Long, 13, who came second.
The race, between the White Horse and Black Head pubs, was organised by the village playgroup association to raise money for its building fund.

It wanted to provide a base for the playgroup at the village primary school. About £5,500 had been raised towards the £10,000 target.
Anthea MacDonald, one of the organisers, said: “It wasn’t a serious race, but everyone enjoyed themselves.”
