A MAN argued with a cashier at the Co-op before racially targetting shoppers outside.
At around 5.10pm on Tuesday, an argument broke out between a man and a shop assistant at the store on Littlemore Road.
The man then followed another customer out of the shop and racially abused him.
Police are now hunting for the man who is described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall with curly hair.
At the time he was wearing black jeans, a black parka jacket, trainers and a face mask.
Investigating officer PC Ffion Mount, based at Cowley police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident or recognises the description above.
“Anyone who has information should contact the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, or make a report online, quoting the reference 43210057680.
“Alternatively you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
