With restaurants closed and strict lockdown restrictions in force, you may be struggling for Valentine's Day ideas this year.
Luckily, Oxfordshire is full of picturesque countryside and fairytale buildings, making it the perfect place for a romantic lockdown walk.
Whether you are celebrating Valentine’s, Galentine’s or even Palentine’s Day, why not get out in the fresh air and visit some of Oxfordshire’s most scenic spots.

With the help of the Oxford Mail Camera Club, we have found some great destinations for a winter walk which are close to home.
1. Brill Windmill, Brill
A brilliant, picturesque countryside spot, and it's extra Insta-friendly if you visit in the snow. Picture by Victoria Timms.
2. South Park, Headington
If it's views across the whole of Oxford you're after, South Park in Headington is a great place visit.

3. Radcliffe Camera, Oxford City Centre
The iconic Radcliffe Camera is a must-see in Oxford.

4. Shellingford near Faringdon
If you go at dusk, you might be lucky enough to see a sunset like this. And what's more romantic than a sunset? Picture by Steve Creasey.
5. Ridgeway National Trail
The ancient Ridgeway trail stretches for 87 miles - which might be a little ambitious for a lockdown walk, so plan ahead!

6. Old Marston
