Climate activists attempted to win the support of an MP by sending her Valentine's Day cards.
Members of Extinction Rebellion Oxford showed their love for the Climate and Ecological Emergency (CEE) Bill with an array of cards for Anneliese Dodds, Labour MP for Oxford East.
The climate activists are asking the MP to support the CEE Bill which is due to have its second reading in Parliament, in late March.
Extinction Rebellion Oxford claims the bill can “change our course” and make the Government act with “urgency”.

If the CEE Bill is made law, the government would have to act fast, accounting for our entire carbon footprint while actively conserving nature here and overseas. The activists hope that this bill will set a precedent that can be replicated across the world.
