A community-spirited IT company has donated 30 computers to schools to help with home learning and hopes to donate up to 100.
OX IT Solutions gave free HP Chromebooks to Henry Box School in Witney and Wheatley Park School in Oxford.
They now want to persuade likeminded businesses and individuals to do the same.
Director Paul Cox said: “According to a recent local BBC report, up to 30% of home schooling children are struggling to share either a single laptop, or even attempting to home school via a smartphone.”
He added that donating laptops is more sustainable than disposing of them.
“If your company wish to donate an old or unused Chromebook or laptop, then please contact us at https://lnkd.in/dccHTHh,” he said.
