OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT
NAVEED AKHTER, 34, of Westbury Crescent, Oxford, admitted drug-driving on June 28 on the A40, Oxford. He had 140mcg of Benzoylecgonine – which is found in Cocaine – in 1litre of blood, above the legal limit of 50mcg. He was fined £360, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £36 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for three years.
SALLY HAZZARD, 47, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted begging in a public place on Magdalen Street on November 8 and 16. She was discharged conditionally for three months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22.
JOSEPH JOYCE, 29, of Red Bridge Hollow, Oxford, admitted stealing goods, costing £104, from Tesco in Oxford on April 29. He was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.
ABID BAHRI, 52, of Oliver Road, Cowley, was convicted of failing to give the information of a driver, who was suspected of committing a driving offence, to the police when required between September 30 and October 28 in Banbury. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
ARKADIUSZ BRZOZOWSKI, 46, of Danesmoor, Banbury, admitted driving at 52mph in a 30mph zone on the A44 Worcester Road, Chipping Norton, on September 30. He was fined £275, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
RONILDO DESOUSA, 45, of Hutchcomb Road, Oxford, admitted driving at 38mph in a 30mph zone on Rose Hill, Oxford, on June 27. He was fined £66 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.
LJUBICA FIRTH, 60, of Abingdon Road, Abingdon, admitted driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone on Botley Road, Oxford, on July 2. She was fined £40, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £40. Her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
JULIA KLEBANOV, 37, of Valley Road, Henley-on-Thames, was convicted of failing to give the information of a driver, who was suspected of committing a driving offence, to the police when required between September 11 and October 9 in Banbury. She was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
NICHOLAS MACER, 46, of William Lucy Way, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give the information of a driver, who was suspected of committing a driving offence, to the police when required between September 9 and October 7 in Banbury. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
MAURICE SMITH, 57, of Pinnocks Way, Oxford, was convicted of driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone on Botley Road on June 27. He was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.
CLAIRE TURNER, 45, of Kingston Road, Oxford, admitted driving without third party insurance and a licence on Cherwell Drive on October 27. She was fined £170, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. She was also disqualified from driving for six months.
ROCHELLE BAAK, 32, of Nuffield Close, Bicester, admitted driving without a licence and drink-driving on Keble Road, Bicester on December 6. She had 119mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. She was made subject to a community order and must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85. She has been disqualified from driving for 28 months.
RYAN MCLAUGHLAN, 32, of Clarks Row, Oxford, admitted two counts of common assault on January 13, 2021 in Oxford. He was made subject to a community order and must have treatment for his alcohol dependency under the direction of A New Hope in Bracknell for 12 months. He must also pay compensation of £40 and a victim surcharge of £95.
ALLAN RUSSELL, 40, of Shirburn Road, Watlington, admitted driving without insurance on July 11 in Watlington Road. He was fined £3,000, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £190 and court costs of £85.
SEAN FLOWER, 22, of Edward Street, Banbury, admitted being in possession of cannabis, a class B drug, as well as drug-driving on July 4 in Banbury. He had 4.4mcg of cannabis in his blood, above the legal limit of 2mcg. He was fined £250, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.
MOHAMMED ZAHEER, 32, of Milton Road, Oxford, was convicted of driving at 100mph in a 70mph zone in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, on June 14. He was fined £400, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and court costs of £85. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.
ANTHONY MARTIN, 41, of no fixed abode, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order (CBO) made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on January 15 by obstructing traffic on St Martins Street, Wallingford, and causing alarm or distress to members of the public. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.
DANIEL MCMASTER, 31, of Lansdown Road, Faringdon, admitted being in possession of cannabis, a Class B drug, at Abingdon Police Station on January 15, 2021. He was discharged conditionally for six months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22. He must also forfeit the drugs to be destroyed.
BRANDON MCELVAINE, 29, of Freemans Road, Bodicote, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Oxford Magistrates Court on November 12 by not being available during the curfew hours on November 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27 last year. He was fined £40.
ANDREW SILVER, 38, of Hailey Road, Witney, admitted stealing seven bottles of wine, costing £49, from Tesco in Witney on June 16 and 13 bottles of alcohol, costing £97.50, from Co-op in Witney High Street on December 9. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay compensation of £15.
