It has been a year of success and expansion for Crompton Technology Group. The Banbury-based firm, which develops carbon fibre composites for the motorsport, aerospace and medical industries, has recruited 30 new staff since picking up the honour in June.
And now it is set to open a new 20,000 sq ft extension to expand the company even further.
Founding director Roger Davidson (pictured second from left) said: "We now have about 130 people in the company and we are enjoying up to 15 per cent growth a year."
Mr Davidson believes the award has been a key factor in the development of the company.
He said: "There were tangible benefits in terms of what could be done for the business and the staff, as well as the Banbury area in general. The award says CTG is a company that can hold its head up anywhere - and that is good for the workforce. People want to work for companies that are successful."
