Littlemore House, the first phase of the RO Developments office scheme at Littlemore Park has now been completed. The Victorian building, formerly part of Littlemore Hospital, has been fully refurbished by RO Developments over the last year to provide high quality office accommodation.
The structure has been cleaned and repaired externally, stripped out and converted into modern office space featuring more than 300 new sash windows with solar reflective glazing.
The building sits within a 5.5 acre secure site, with mature landscaping and 110 car spaces.
Littlemore House provides 40,000 sq ft of space in total, but suites are available from 4,000 sq ft.
Richard Bourne, associate development director at RO Developments, said: "These are truly inspiring buildings which deserved to be restored.
"We are delighted with the finished product which will offer a unique working environment with outstanding natural light, high ceilings and period features in an impressive and peaceful campus setting.
"It is a fantastic alternative to crowded business parks and usually characterless modern office blocks. It offers practical open plan space with loads of character."
David Williams, of property agent Meeson Williams, said: "This building has generated considerable interest from a wide variety of sources, including international corporate headquarters, local design companies and professional services. The quality of the space speaks for itself."
Work is due to start on Phase Two in January which will provide a further 35,000 sq ft of space in a number of self-contained office/research and development laboratory units ranging from 1,100 sq ft to 17,500 sq ft.
