POLICE warned people to stay away from the RAF Brize Norton after diesel leaked onto farmland.
Writing on Twitter last night Thames Valley Police West Oxon wrote: "Public message. There has been a diesel spillage from RAF Brize Norton site onto land occupied by the Time Out Animal Sanctuary.
"RAF personnel are deployed to clean-up the area and deal with the spillage. Please avoid the area."
The farmer who's land has been swamped with oil has now made an urgent plea for hay.
