A celebrity cook book compiled by a village pre-school attracted recipes from top chefs, local MP Boris Johnson and Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
The 250-issue print run sold out within hours of going on sale in Benson.
All the money made from copies, priced at £5, goes to Benson Community Pre-School, whose 43 children featured in photographs throughout the book.
Recipes came from local chefs, such as Oxfordshire resident Sophie Grigson and Anthony Worrall-Thompson, who lives at Shiplake in the south of the county, while Raymond Blanc donated a recipe and wrote the foreword.
Parent Valentine Ward, who thought up the project, said: "I'd no idea we had so many chefs among us.
"It's been great fun and brought the whole community together.
"We really wanted to stress the importance of shopping seasonally and locally."
