OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT
JOHN GREEN, 48, of Osney Lane, Oxford, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order (CBO) on January 7 in Oxford by being in possession of alcohol in a public place. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.
JONATHAN TAYLOR, 21, of Bowness Avenue, Didcot, admitted driving whilst disqualified and without third party insurance on September 25 on Newlands Avenue, Didcot. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for six months.
MARIUS CALIN, 28, of Moorbank, Oxford, admitted driving whilst disqualified and without third party insurance on July 29 on Garsington Road, Oxford. He was sent to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months because of his previous driving record. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and court costs of £85 and has been disqualified from driving for 18 months.
STUART RICHMOND, 32, of Stockleys Road, Oxford, admitted drug-driving in Oxford on May 17 on the A34 in South Hinksey. He had 200mcg of benzoylecgonine, the chemical found in cocaine, in 1litre of blood, above the legal limit of 50mcg. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £200. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months.
ANTONIO LEVI, 53, of Islip Road, Oxford, was convicted of failing to provide a specimen for analysis on January 27 at Abingdon Police Station when suspected of a driving offence. He was sent to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 24 months because of his previous record of drink driving offences and 'deliberate' refusal. He was also ordered to have treatment for his alcohol dependency under the direction of the National Probation Service for 12 months and will take part in a 'thinking skills' programme for 30 days. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £90, £300 in court costs and has been disqualified from driving for five years.
SAM WOOLFORD, 28, of Schofield Avenue, Witney, admitted two counts of criminal damage to two cars on May 2, 2020 in Witney and assault by beating of an emergency worker on May 3 in Witney. He was made subject to a community order and must take part in a rehabilitation activity with a responsible officer for 15 days. He must also pay £175 in compensation, a victim surcharge of £90 and court costs of £85.
STEVEN JEACOCK, 33, of Redcar Road, Bicester, admitted drug-driving on the A34 in Weston-on-the-Green on June 21. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85. ALICE ELIZABETH NORAY, 70, of Elmscote Road, Banbury, admitted driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone on November 22, 2019 in Adderbury. She was fined £179, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. There was no 'totting disqualification' because of her 'health issues, job and she would be isolated from society'. Her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
BENJAMIN ATTRILL, 20, of James Wolfe Road, Oxford, was convicted of getting on a Great Western Railway train at Oxford Station on September 29 without paying a fare of £27.55. He was fined £440, ordered to pay compensation of £27.55, a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £180.
CHRISTIAN CATANA, 38, of Chorefields, Kidlington, admitted driving a HGV lorry on High Street, Clifton, on May 27 which exceeded the 7.5tonne maximum weight limit set out in a local traffic order made by Oxfordshire County Council. He was fined £115, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £175.
JULIAN GUNNETT, 45, of Wilsdon Way, Kidlington, was convicted of getting on a Great Western Railway train at Oxford Station on September 10 and 11 and not paying a fare of £12.10 both times. He was fined £880, ordered to pay compensation of £24.20, a victim surcharge of £88 and court costs of £180.
TATSUNGA SOL NYAZIKA, 23, of Ayscrath Road, Kidlington, was convicted of getting on a Great Western Railway train at Oxford Station on October 6 having not paid a fare of £2.90. He was fined £440, ordered to pay compensation of £2.90, a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £180.
STEWART PAUL PARIS, 61, of Burwell Drive, Witney, admitted driving a HGV lorry on High Street, Cifton Hampden, that was over the 7.5tonne weight limit, set out by Oxfordshire County Council in a local traffic order, on May 22. He was fined £144, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £175.
NEIL RHYS COMINS, 36, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted burglary other than a swelling on January 7 after breaking into JT Bar and Cafe, Castle house on Market Place, Banbury and stealing alcohol, costing £25. He was fined £110, ordered to pay compensation of £100, court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £32.
JOANNE MCCLEMENTS, 44, of Hill Top Road, Oxford, admitted taking a motor vehicle without the owners consent on July 20 in Cowley and driving without a licence or third party insurance. She also admitted stealing: alcohol, costing £101, from Sainsbury's at the Westgate Centre on April 6, 8 and May 26 as well as gin and vodka, costing £98, from Tesco on Cowley Road on September 16, 22 and December 15 and 19. She also admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements following a release from prison by not contacting the responsible officer on March 9, 2020. She was sent to prison for 10 weeks suspended for 12 months. She was also ordered to pay compensation of £196 and was fined £40. She was disqualified from driving for eight months.
INDERJEET AUJLA, 47, of Lancaster Close, Bicester, admitted breaching a non-molestation order on March 4 by attempting to go to an address he was banned from. He was fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.
JASON DEWSBURY, 26, of Wood Farm Road, Oxford, admitted driving whilst disqualified and without third party insurance on November 20 in Oxford. He was sent to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months because he has 'six driving disqualifications'. He must also carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and has been ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and court costs of £85. He has been disqualified from driving for 24 months.
