OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT

MARK ARCHIBOLD, 38, of HMP on Cambridge Road, Bristol, admitted assault by beating and using threatening, insulting and abusive words to cause harassment on May 3 at Oxford Railway Station. He was sent to prison for 12 weeks because the 'offence is so serious and because spitting is particularly horrible and dangerous, more so in this present covid climate, language used and sexist comments'. He must also pay compensation of £100.

RYAN LEACH, 33, of Threshers, Carterton, admitted fraud by false representation after agreeing to install block paving on a driveway, costing £3,430, and not carrying out the work as agreed. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay compensation of £2,530.

LEAH ELIZABETH HOGAN, 29, of Trandel Place, Abingdon, admitted criminal damage to an ashtray, picture and picture frame in Didcot on July 16 as well as obstructing a police officer in the execution of their duty. He was given a conditional discharge of 14 months, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £85.

MATIAS MARQUEZ-MURUA, 41, of Eastern Avenue, Oxford, admitted three counts of assault by beating of emergency workers on May 4 in Oxford. He also admitted breaching a community order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on September 3, 2020 after assault by beating. He was dealt with for the original offence of assault by beating at Warneford Hospital on February 26. He was sent to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months. He must pay compensation of £700 and must have drug rehabilitation and mental health treatment for 18 months.

PETER JOHN CURRIE, 43, of no fixed abode, admitted assault by beating of a woman on January 5, 2021 in Oxford. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

KRZYSZTOF ROBERT MIKULEC, 37, of Keyser Road, Bodicote, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis on November 29 at Banbury Police Station when suspected of a driving offence. He was fined £240 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ANDREW ROBINSON, 51, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted failing without a reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following a release from prison by not attending planned probation appointments on November 11, November 26 and December 3, 2020. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

SILAS PEREIRA-SANTOS, 36, of Lytton Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk in charge of a child under the age of seven on Cowley Road, Oxford, on November 29. He was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 an court costs of £85.

AHMMED ZAHRAN, 18, of Peat Moors, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive and insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress on November 29 to a police officer. He was fined £120, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.

SCOTT STEPHEN HADLOW, 41, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order on Cornmarket Street in Oxford and being in possession of heroin, a class A drug, at Abingdon Police Station on January 6, 2021. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. His 'six wraps' of heroin must also be forfeited to be destroyed.

GLYN DAVIES, 52, of The Magnolias, Bicester, admitted drink-driving on Hornbeam Road, Bicester, on November 29. He had 80mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was fined £323, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 20 months.

HOLLY PENNINGTON, 33, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted stealing: Christmas Gift Sets from Boots in Oxford, costing £123, on October 22; meat, costing £115.90, from Sainsbury's in the Westgate Centre on October 6; alcohol and meat, costing £193.41, from Aldi on Horspath Driftway; alcohol costing £116.50 from Tesco in Oxford on November 17 and meat, costing £82.40, from Tesco in Oxford on November 9. She also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates' Court on November 24 after being released on bail and driving without a licence and driving without third party insurance. She was made subject to a community order and must have treatment for her drug dependency problem under the direction of Turning Point for 12 months. She must also pay compensation of £314.80. Her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

LEWIS WOOTTON, 38, of Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted stealing three bottles of Smirnoff Vodka, costing £51, from Tesco on Cowley Road on October 14. He was fined £333, ordered to pay compensation of £51, a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

JED LEE BLACKMORE-SUCH, 27, of Mill Lane, Bicester, admitted sending two messages by public electronic communications that was grossly offensive or indecent, obscene or menacing in character on August 4. He was given a conditional discharge for 24 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £85.

ALEXANDRA MAIR, 32, of The Avenue, Kennington, admitted assault by beating on August 31 in Kennington. She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £85.

ANTONIO MARRAFFA, 25, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a bike, costing £130, from the Ash Building at the City of Oxford College on November 30. He also admitted using threatening, abusive and insulting words to cause harassment, alarm or distress to a police officer on Luther Street on December 15 and resisting an officer in the execution of his duty at Abingdon Police Station. He was made subject to a community order and must attend drug-rehabilitation appointments. He must also pay compensation of £730.

CSENGE HERMAN, 48, of Purslane Drive, Bicester, was convicted of assault by beating on December 6, 2019 in Bicester. She was given a conditional discharge of three months, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £22 and £400 in court costs.

LEE REHMAN, 34, of Cowley Road, Oxford, admitted drug-driving on Foxcombe Road, Oxford on May 21. He had 200mcg of cocaine per llitre of blood, above the legal limit of 50mcg as well as 81mcg of morphine in his blood. He also admitted driving without third party insurance, resisting a police officer and driving whilst disqualified. He was sent to prison for 18 weeks because of his 'flagrant disregard' for court orders. He was also made to pay a victim surcharge of £128 and £85 in court costs and was disqualified from driving for 11 years.
