TWO HSBC banks will close in Oxford, the company has announced.
HBSC said that customers had started using online services more in the last year but insisted the closures were not entirely related to lockdowns and restrictions introduced.
Across the UK there will be 82 sites closing, of those two are in Oxford.
The store in Summertown will shut first on May 21 with the Headington branch expected to close on June 18.
Staff in branches facing closure are also expected to be redeployed to other branches and sites within 15 miles of their homes.
