EIGHT people have died in Oxfordshire after getting positive test results for Coronavirus.

According to Public Health England, four people have died in Oxford, two in West Oxfordshire, one in the Cherwell and one in the Vale of White Horse area.

Separate NHS data reveals that only two of the eight deaths were recorded at a hospital part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - the trust responsible for the John Radcliffe, Churchill, Nuffield and Horton.

This means that the other six died at home or in a care home.

These are the latest cases:

  • Oxford 160
