A STALKER has been banned from going near a woman's house after he posted letters through the door.
Jonathan Power, of Orchard Walk, Watlington, admitted stalking the woman by going to the her house multiple times, sending her mail and accosting her in the street between July 21 and October 15.
The 64-year-old appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court on December 18.
He admitted the charges and was made the subject of a community order.
As part of that he must have treatment for his alcohol dependency under the direction of Turning Point for six months.
He must also take part in the Building Better Relationships programme for 30 days.
Power must comply with the rules of a restraining order and must not go within 10 yards of the victims home address or contact her directly or indirectly through social media or a third person.
He will also pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.
The fee is not paid directly to the victim as compensation.
