THE hospital trust in charge of the John Radcliffe has called on patients' relatives and carers to help with their discharge as it deals with rising Covid admissions.
Tweeting on Saturday, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust , which also runs the Churchill, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and Banbury's Horton General, said its emergency departments and wards were ‘exceptionally busy at the moment’.

It added: “Relatives and carers of patients able to be discharged are being urged to help people get back to their homes.
"Home is the safest space for patients who no longer need medical care.”
