ANOTHER five Covid deaths have been announced at Oxfordshire's hospitals as admissions climb.
The deaths took place at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH), which runs the John Radcliffe, the Churchill, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre and Banbury’s Horton General Hospital.

An NHS England update showed one of the patients died on Tuesday, two on Wednesday and two on Thursday.
It takes the total official coronavirus death toll at the trust since the start of the pandemic to 272.
According to Public Health England, as of 9am Friday, these were the number of new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours:
- Oxford - 158
- Oxfordshire - 656
- UK - 68,053
The total coronavirus cases since the pandemic started:
- Oxford - 6,130
- Oxfordshire - 22,193
- UK - 2,957,472
Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
A further 1,325 people were reported to have died within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test.
This takes the UK death toll to 79,833.

The latest available hospital trust-level figures show, as of Wednesday, January 5, OUH was treating 275 Covid-positive patients, with 29 in serious enough condition to need to be on ventilation.
This is up from 185 the week before, with 21 patients on ventilation.
Across the UK, hospitals were treating 31,624 Covid patients as of Wednesday, with 2,929 people on ventilation.
