Sir - I was horrified to learn of the threatened closure of Cogges Farm. People who have not visited Cogges cannot begin to imagine what a magically enriching experience it provides for young children, bringing their rural heritage alive for them as no ordinary museum ever could, in an atmosphere of healing peace.
As your editorial argued, there is an alternative to closure: now is the time for an imaginative and dynamic recreation of this irreplaceable resource, which should draw in a wider public to share the delight.
