MORRISONS has refused to deny reports circulating online that a number of staff at an Oxfordshire branch have tested positive for Covid-19.
Alarming posts shared on Facebook revealed that a group of colleagues at the store in Carterton have contracted the virus.
Several shoppers who visited the Black Bourton Road branch on Christmas Eve confirmed that they were also told to self-isolate.

A spokesperson for the company did not want to comment on the running total of cases in the store, but said that the company is following 'all government guidelines to keep customers and staff safe'.
