OXFORD MAGISTRATES' COURT

AULBRIDGE MANYIKA, 33, of Hearthway, Banbury, admitted driving at 56mph in a 30mph zone on Aynho Road, Adderbury on September 4. He was fined £461, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £46 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

AIMEE PARGETER, 35, of Nuffield Road, Oxford, admitted driving at 48mph in a 30mph zone on the A329 on July 4. She was fined £163, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court cost of £90. Her driving licence was also endorsed with five penalty points.

ABIE PEER, 18, of Sunderland Avenue, Oxford, admitted driving at 48mph in a 30mph zone on Abingdon Road on May 28. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

BEN RUSSELL, 29, of The Street, Crowmarsh Gifford, Wallingford, was convicted of failing to give information about the identity of a driver when required between December 11 and January 1 in Banbury. He was fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge fee of £66 and court costs of £90. He was also disqualified for driving for six months.

STEPHEN RUSHMER, 56, of North Way, Headington, was convicted of damaging a glass door panel, costing £264, March 18. He was made to pay back compensation of £264, a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £400.

MITCHELL SPENCER, 21, of Kingfisher Green, Oxford, admitted assault by beating a woman on Dunmore Road on September 22. He was made subject to a restraining order and must not contact the woman directly or indirectly until November 2021. He was also fined £459, ordered to pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £46 and court costs of £500.

NED CONNORS, 20, of Gordon Marshall Close, Witney, admitted drink-driving on Church Green, Witney, on November 30, 2019. He had 78mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He also admitted failing to stop after a road accident on the same day. He was fined £240 in total, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32, and £85 in court costs and was disqualified from driving for 20 months.

ARFAN MAHMOOD, 32, of Rymers Lane, Oxford, admitted drug-driving on the A4142 Eastern Bypass Road on January 17 and being in possession of cannabis, a Class B drug, on the same day. He was fined £115, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £100. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months and must forfeit the cannabis to be destroyed.

BRANDON ROBERTS, 19, of Henry Blyth Gardens, Thame, admitted assault by beating a man on December 15, 2019, using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour on the same day and assaulting a police officer on duty. He was made subject to a community order and must attend appointments with a rehabilitation officer for 15 days. He must also pay a total compensation of £100.

JONATHAN GRIFFIN, 29, of Botley Road, was convicted of racially or religiously aggravated common assault on August 19, 2019 in Oxford and racial or religiously aggravated harassment by words or writing. He was given a conditional discharge for 18 months and was ordered to pay compensation of £50.

MURGUREL CONSTANDACHE, 46, of Bernard Close, Yarnton, admitted driving a heavy goods vehicle on the A415 at Newbridge over the maximum weight limit of 35 tonnes on February 13 twice. He was fined £400 in total, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £175.

ANDREW TOWNSEND, 57, of Danesmoor Crescent, Darlington, admitted driving a heavy goods vehicle on the A415 at Newbridge on March 17 above the weight limit of 44 tonnes. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £175.

JAMIE NATHAN BURKE, 28, of Lovelace Drive, Kidlington, admitted failing to take measures to dispose of household waste on June 6, 2019 in Kidlington. He was fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £445.28.

ANDREW KENNETH BROWN, 59, of Rose Hill, Oxford, admitted breaching a domestic violence protection order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on October 26, 2020 after he was found by police officers in the company of the victim after her home address. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

JAVIER AUGUSTO CORTES, 59, of Portland Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on the Peartree Roundabout, on the A34, on October 31 in Oxford. He had 102mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mcg. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He must also pay a victim surcharge fee of £95 and £85 in court costs. He has been disqualified from driving for 24 months.

JONATHON STEAR, 37, of Gillett Road, Banbury, admitted failing without a reasonable excuse to keep contact with a responsible officer on June 4 after being made the subject of a community order at Oxford Magistrates' Court on June 6. He was dealt with for the original offence of stealing a bicycle, costing £175, from a man on January 27, 2019 in Banbury. He was made subject to a community order and will have a curfew and electronic monitoring for 20 weeks.

ALEX WOODHAM, 20, of Stone Hill Walk, Abingdon, admitted failing to comply with a community order made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on December 3, 2019 by not attending appointments with a responsible officer on September 23, October 28 and not attending unpaid work sessions on October 29 and November 5. He was fined £50 and ordered to complete all requirements by June 2, 2021.

CHRISTIAN MATEI, 38, of Mullein Road, Bicester, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis on Skimmingdish Lane, Bicester when required on November 1, 2020. He was fined £560, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £56 and court costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 17 months.

ASHA KUMA-LAL, 48, of Oxford Road, Cowley, admitted assaulting two police officers on November 1 in Oxford. She was made subject to a community order and must attend appointments with an officer for 15 days. A suspended sentence made by Oxford Magistrates' Court on July 9, 2019 after she was found in possession of a knife n a public place was also varied to six months in prison suspended for 24 months. She must also pay compensation of £200.

KAI JEFFERIES, 18, of Melton Drive, Didcot, admitted stealing a bottle of Courvoisier Brandy, costing £29, from Sainsbury's in Didcot on June 20. He was given a conditional discharge for nine months and was made to pay compensation of £29.
