Free parking at at Oxford’s park and rides has stopped because Oxfordshire is in Tier4.
The council announced on Christmas Eve that the scheme would end when the county moves into Tier 4 – 00:01 on Boxing Day.

Councillor Tom Hayes said: “The free parking, which was due to end on Sunday, aimed to support businesses in Oxford city centre, but under the Government’s Tier 4 rules non-essential retailers must close, people should work from home where possible and residents must not leave their home except where they have a reasonable excuse.”
