Oxford Children's Hospital has enjoyed the support of a number of high-profile celebrities over the years, including singer Jason Donovan.
He has visited the hospital at the John Radcliffe Hospital site on numerous occasions to meet staff and young patients.
In 2010, he was at the starting line of the OX5 Run, the annual five-mile run at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, which is backed by the Oxford Mail and is one of the hospital's main fundraisers.
The chart-topping Australian artist is a father-of-three and enjoyed huge success with his 1989 debut album Ten Good Reasons.
