A HOMELESS man who was found dead in his room at Oxford Youth Hostel has been named.
Krzysztof Janik, 46, who was born in Poland, died on November 30.
Mr Janik had been a forklift operator, the coroner said at his inquest opening yesterday.
In a statement from the council at the weekend, councillor Mike Rowley said he had been accommodated in interim housing on September 2 after becoming homeless in August.
He had been found hanging at around 2pm by an employee at the hostel.
His next of kin were told.
His full inquest will be held on April 22.
