POLICE, fire and ambulance were called to two accidents in Banbury within an hour of each other.
The first involved a lorry and a car and happened outside Sainsburys on the Oxford Road, Banbury at 1.45pm.
One person was taken to the Horton Hospital in the town and the extent of their injuries was not known but they were not thought to be life-threatening.
The second accident happened shortly after 2.30pm at the corner of Bankside and High Town Road and involved two cars.
Two people were trapped in the collision and were released by firefighters using hydraulic cutting gear before being taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital by ambulance.
The extent of their injuries was not known, according to a spokesman for South Central Ambulance.
