POLICE have warned online sellers to be 'cautious'.
People who meet up in person to exchange money for items, like those that sell on Facebook Marketplace, have been told to watch out for fake £5, £10 and £20 notes.
In a post on social media, Thames Valley Police wrote: "We have received several Action Fraud reports from sellers who have sold items at the door but have been given fake banknotes for items they have sold.
"Most of the items being sold are high-value electronic items."
